Tags
Labels you put on a guest — VIP, Regular, Coeliac — so the whole team sees them at a glance.
What is it?
Tags are simple labels on a guest profile: VIP, Regular, Coeliac, birthday-this-month — whatever your team needs to spot in a second. They show on the profile, so anyone serving that guest knows before the plate goes down.
A tag can be added by hand, applied automatically from a booking, or set by a rule in your CRM. Once it is there, your automations can act on it — greet a VIP, double-check an allergen, hold a table for a regular.
Tags are the labels you set and keep; segments are groups that recalculate themselves. Use a tag when you want a fact that sticks to the guest, and a segment when you want a list that moves.
