Overview
Payments become first-class events in the guest journey. Automations like "thank-you SMS 2 hours after visit" or "VIP offer after £500 lifetime spend" are workflow-driven off PayOS events.
How it works
Every PayOS event type is emitted onto the profile and is subscribable by workflows (bill_closed, card_linked, reward_redeemed, spend_tier_changed).
Core concepts
Event type
the named trigger (bill_closed, etc.).
Subscriber
a workflow listening for that event.
Real-time
events fire within seconds of the underlying transaction.

Thank-you journeys, VIP activation, review request prompts, spend-based offers.
Example
A guest hits £500 lifetime spend; a VIP welcome workflow begins the same evening with a personalised offer.

Where to find it
Configure this in the Stampede admin app under Admin → PayOS. Permissions are role-gated — contact your account owner to request access if you don't see it.
